FAQ:
1. How many batteries are required? How long does the batteries last?
It requires 2-3 standard 18650 batteries. One full charge of 3 batteries will last around 1-2 month with ordinary daily use.
2. Does it work with AC/DC?
Yes there are 3 methods of power supply. It supports connecting to 12V-24V AC/DC to provide power continuously and please note that batteries should be put into the doorbell the same time when it is connected to AC/DC.
3.Why it can not turn on when the batteries are put in?
Please note that there are insulating film cover on the bottom of each battery. Please remember to peel the covers off the batteries then put into the doorbell. The working environment or temperature may affect the battery lasting time.
4. Is it compatible with 5G WiFi?
This model is compatible with only 2.4G WiFi, not 5G Wifi. But if your router is dual band of both 2.4G&5G and can switch automatically, it will work well with that dual band router/WiFi.
5. What APP it can be connected to and is it compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant?
It supports 2 APPs: Tuya Smart/ Smart Life. It is Not compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant.
6. How does it record videos?
With PIR motion detection function, when someone presses the bell or when any human movement is detected, it will take loop recording automatically. It will take every 10 second video one by one as long as it detects movement. Videos can be saved in SD card or cloud (Subscription required).
7. Why can not receive PIR movement notification on my phone?
Please remember to turn on the PIR function and adjust the sensitivity Level. And also please turn on the notification function in your phone settings.
8. Why somtimes it shows “device offline” in the APP?
a. When the wifi ever cut off or when the home wifi signals become too weak, it might be offline and you can reopen the APP or try it little later. And please do not put it too far away from your WiFi to receive good signals, like smart phones.
b. With low comsumption chip, it will go to sleep mode when there is no one pressing the bell or no movement detected and it will show “offline” in the APP. In this situation, we can wake it up manually in the APP.
Tips:
1. This wireless doorbell camera works with only 2.4GHz network, Not a 5GHz network.
2. Keep the doorbell in the range of the Wifi signal. Thick or insulated doors will reduce the wifi signal strength even if your router is nearby.
3. When entering the product password, please check whether the password is correct, otherwise the device cannot connect to the APP succesfully (Remember to reset the doorbell before the wifi configuration)
4. Please full charge the batteries for 5 hours before the wifi connection. Low power may influence the function of the video doorbell.
5. The micro SD card slot and USB slot are in the cover on the top of the doorbell, please push the cover and get if off to insert sd card or charge it. 6. The video doorbell can only be connected to one APP user directly but can share to other family members after 1st one connection.
7. If the message is not pushed, please check whether the notification permission of the mobile phone and the software are turned on.
Important Notes
When use AC/DC 12-24V input, please make sure the batteries were put inside the doorbell. AC/DC 12-24V is only used to charge batteries, not power supply the doorbell directly.
How to Install ?
Step 1: Remove the back bracket. Use 4 mounting screws to fix the back bracket onto your door or wall. You can also use double-sided tape to fix the back bracket.
Step 2: Fit the doorbell into the back bracket. Use the provided security screw to secure the doorbell, so the doorbell cannot be removed easily.
Notice: Please check live preview to find the best height to install your doorbell. We recommend not below shoulder height.

The door bell camera wifi uses 2.4GHz, but we use 5GHz so it doesn’t support it. The product doesn’t show it only supported 2.4GHz. If not I would not have bought it. The camera cannot connect to the wifi.

I’m not satisfied… very -very low quality sound. barely intelligible speech… battery life up to 4 weeks… in best case… I’m not convinced it’s waterproof. there is no seal on the top of the device. simple plastic sheet and underneath the sd card and usb connector WITHOUT SEAL!!!! be carefull!!!!
